Our chapel offers the charm and fun of a Las Vegas-style wedding, without the travel. You can walk in or drive up, exchange vows, sign the license, and leave legally married. We even take care of the paperwork, so all you have to do is show up and say “yes.”

Marriage Licenses Information
We do not issue marriage licenses. You will need to obtain your license from any County Clerk’s office in Texas. Please note: there is a mandatory 72-hour waiting period from the time the license is issued before it can be used.
After your ceremony, we will sign and date the license, then return it to you for safe submission back to the County Clerk’s office where you obtained it.
Deposits and Payments
All packages under $1,000 or booked within 30 days of the event must be paid in full at time of reservation.All payments are non-refundable. Please note all balances must be paid in full 30 days prior to the ceremony date. Applicable service surcharge of 10% will be added to all packages, and services. The surcharge includes tips, gratuities, coordination & supervision fees, clean-up/set-up costs, credit card & bank fees, etc.
All remaining balances must be paid in full 30 days prior to the event date. Outstanding balances can be caused by the immediate cancellation of the event if not paid when notified. You will be sent an invoices to pay this amount.
Refund Policy
We do NOT OFFER REFUNDS ONLY CREDIT. If a client cancels or is canceled by us, we do not offer refunds by cash or credit. We will issue a credit to the clients account for another date and time within 1 year of the cancellation date.
Cancellation Policy
If Client chooses to cancel an event, Client must provide a 3 day written notice of intent to cancel. Emails are an acceptable form of notification. TEXT IS NOT AN ACCEPTABLE FORM OF CANCELLATION.
If circumstances leave COL unable to provide services due to weather, or any act or situation that is out of COL’s direct control, the Client event may be canceled by COL. All monies paid will be credited to the Client’s account for use at another date and time. No Cash or Credit Card Refund Is Available.
If the event is canceled due to governmental requirements either by local, state, or federal mandates, that specifically restrict COL’s ability to materially provide services due to impossibilities, the Client may reschedule without penalty and without 30-day notice to COL and all money will be credited to the clients’ account. Cancellation must be due to a mandate that affects COL and Client locally and not due to outside factors that do not directly relate to an official mandate. This includes but is not limited to weather, travel restrictions, accommodations, guests not attending due to choice.
If Austin is not affected by a shutdown mandate this clause will not apply.
Reschedule Policy
The client may reschedule the event within one year and based on availability of COL staff. Availability of dates for rescheduled Events will be determined at COL’s sole discretion. Client acknowledges and agrees that package pricing may increase for rescheduled events, and further agrees to pay any such increased fees upon re-contracting for services.
Package Price
Our packages are curated and we bundle service together to save you money. We do not deduct from the package price for any part of the service. You can create a custom package that will fit your needs.
Use of Airstream Photo Lounge
Use of our beautiful 1974 Airstream lounge is allowed for extended packages and above. Use for changing, photos and celebrations are allowable.
Use of Outside Vendors
Outside vendors are not permitted unless written approval is granted by management in advance. If an outside officiant or photographer is approved, there will be no reduction in the package price. Additionally, a $100 fee will apply for the use of an outside photographer. All approved outside vendors must adhere strictly to the time limits specified in your chosen package.
Guest Count and Child Safety
Due to the intimate size of our venue, guest counts are strictly enforced. Absolutely no more than 6 guests are allowed for any package unless the courtyard is included in your reservation. Any additional guests beyond the maximum of 6 will kindly be asked to wait in their vehicle.
For safety reasons, children under the age of 5 must be supervised by a dedicated adult at all times. Infants are not permitted to remain in carriers unattended.
Venue Fee
There is no additional venue fee at COL. However if the Micro Chapel is being used there is an additional $550.00 paid to Star Hill Ranch and is NOT REFUNDABLE OR REUSABLE.
Animals
Bringing Your Furry Friend?
Pets are welcome with our full packages! However, an independent adult must be present to manage and care for your dog at all times.
Please note that the Chapel of Love team is unable to handle or supervise pets during your event.
