Tell us more about the Chapel of Love

The Chapel of Love is an Austin original and has some great history attached. It was built some 40 years ago as part of an elaborate Christmas Display. The interior was just bare walls, and the exterior was simple. The property was sold, and the chapel sat unused for about 5 years. Rev. Lorelei fell in love with it and sought out the owner just as it was to be torn down. She moved it to Star Hill Ranch in Bee Cave and remodeled it right during the 2020 pandemic shut down. It served as a drive-up location and safe place for simple weddings. Since then, the chapel has seen over 200 couples tie the knot in simple yet traditional ceremonies.

How do I get married there?

We have made it simple a 1,2,3. Just check out our packages page and you can book your elopement or mini wedding right online. Then our planning department will reach out make sure you have everything you need or want for you special day!

Do we have to purchase one of your packages to get married there?

No, you don’t! You can book just the venue. The cost is 500 per hour with one hour minimum. Someone is always on site to make sure you know where to go and what to do.

How much do I have to put down to make a reservation?

Both of our packages must be paid in full. 

How do I pay the deposit?

We offer secure online payment processing. We never accept your credit card number or see it. This way your information is secure.

What is your refund policy?

The quick answer is that we do not issue cash or credit card refunds. All fee’s paid are put on credit toward another date and time.
